If I booked with Travel Agent 1 and was cancelled

Am I forced to use same travel agent if the cruise is cancelled?

Travel agent 1 has some better prices, but if I get cancelled I'd prefer to handle the fcc and rebooking with someone else.

Not real familiar with how cancelled cruises on carnival are handled. Does the fcc come to me?

I had one cancelled but it was booked by TA 2 and rebooked by him. My regular TA. Only want to use this other TA because they advertise a better price.

I do not believe you can be forced to use a certain TA or even any TA at all.

When it comes to using ANY TA, I don't think you are forced to use any of them.  NOW, if they are in the same company and get "talking," there might be a problem there! I have used TA's all my life until this year, when I booked with a Carnival PVP, just checking to SEE what they would offer (yes I was going through my normal TA, but she did not know about the PVP), compared to my TA.  The price was the SAME!  The only difference, the PVP was able to get a room that I wanted, and the TA, said there were none available.  I have a feeling that the PVP might have MORE access to the room situation than the TA's, but I might go back to the TA anyway, as normally they gave me an OBC that this PVP was not giving me, and I was booking for 8 people!

You absolutely do NOT have to use a TA if you originally used one. The FCC is attached to your account, not the TA.

I originally booked with a TA, had cruise in May cancelled, and rebooked through Carnival for November.
