AND I could make the typical monopoly property cards as well.  The idea of having activities on the properties is what the Arizona edition has, so it fits within the theme I think. That way you get 2 games in 1 board!

No. IMHO, no passing on a ‘property’. Those would be experiences. Then, after the game we would compare the game results to our actual experience on board.

Here is an interesting board design for our favorite Monopoly style game.

 

It's called solar quest and you basically buy up either planets or moons. But the cool thing is you decide to stay or leave orbit.

 

You could do that with your design, but instead of orbit you could hang out at a pool, bar, dining venue, excursions,  etc..

 

Spend money and gain experiences. Go to exercise classes, do FlowRider,  play trivia, fold napkins, learn to dance.  Win big in casino. Endless posdibilities, but it would depend where you are on the ship.

 

You could also do that type of board with the different patrs of the world

Caribbean 

Gulf of Mexico

Mediterranean 

China

Australia

Northern Europe

 

You could buy the fleet and ports

The  opoly suffix seems to be public domain based on how many knock offs there are
