Drinks and Speciality Dining Packages on Transatlantic Cruises

Hi:

 

Does anyone know the ballpark price of a drinks package on a TA cruise?  It's so frustrating that NCL does not outright state the price of the drinks package, just gives a range.  We are booked on NCL Epic for a transatlantic out of San Juan in April, 2021.  RCL Harmony of the Seas does a 12-night TA out of our home port of Port Canaveral, so we are considering switching, but I'm trying to compare prices.  With NCL the beverage package, some internet and 5 nights of speciality dining is included in the fare.  Tying to compare the price with RCL but they don't seem to publish a set price for dining or drinks packages.  We are intrigued by the Unlimited Speciality Dining, but again, trying to get a price is difficult.  Does anyone have prices from a TA in 2019?  I know there might be an increase from 2019 prices, but just a ballpark would be good.

Unlimited dining is $239pp

Our March 21 TA has drink package for $40 (16 nights).  No UDP offered yet.  Only 5 and 3 night packages. $119 and $79.

Yes, asking about the drinks package that includes alcohol; it seems RCL offers only one alcoholic package.

 

This is from RCL's website and only talks about the onboard purchase price, not the price to purchase before the cruise, which I understand is usually cheaper

Gratuity included. Our Harmony 2021 TA has the unlimited dining priced at $279.00 and that price is pretty consistent. Works out to $11.00 a meal if you include all sea day specialty lunches.  UBP runs from $42.00 to $65 pp pd. They run several sales through out the year, just need to keep checking the cruise planner. If you book and then find a lower price you can cancel and repurchase the same day. We always leave a little extra for the servers. happy cruising

I have a TP next May (15 night), and right now the Deluxe Drink Package is $54pp ($63.72 with gratuity) pp, per day.

 

Unlimited Dining is $279 pp

 

Also, the fancy fonts and colors look fine for some, but on IPads they are almost unreadable. Have to enlarge to read. Your initial post was fine, and then something changed.

Yes, they only have one alcohol package, but on some ships, they offer a 375ml bottle of 4 or 5 different alcohols and mixers, ranging in the $40 or $50 range.

Some purchase the Refreshment package at $18-26 pre cruise, which includes everything except alcohol. They then purchase bottles and make their own. For some, this is a less expensive than the alcohol package.
