mina Posted August 10, 2020 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2020 got the email this morning for a free interior room on select sailings through 11/21. Called the number and was told that there is no such offer tied to my account. I have the email with my name, and captain's circle number. Very strange! Has anyone else had this happen? Not sure what to do next. Figured I would try tomorrow to see if it was just a delay in the computers catching up.

It's happened to us with several lines over the years. Check the Captains Circle member number on the offer, and see if it matches your current number. Thinking it will be caught up tomorrow. Otherwise, it’s fine. The casino rep was quite in a bad mood when I called, so makes me think perhaps I just keep our current cruise as if not on a casino rate, we won’t partake. Probably cheaper in the long run.

Your travel agent should be able to book these casino rates for you. Just give them the details, offer code. and your Captain's Circle number. There is one I’ve gotten 3 times now who likes to lecture. It’s like she thinks we don’t deserve the offer. Call back and hope for someone else! wannagonow123 Posted August 11, 2020 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2020 I got the same offer. I waited 45 minutes on hold with the number provided on the e-mail. Hung up and tried my vacation planner and was told I had to go through the number on the e-mail to get the casino offer. Back to waiting now. Told her I was going to cancel another cruise for this offer and she told me that is not the intent of the offer and I should not be doing that:)

She also just booked my casino offer cruise again last week. Was she/he thru Princess?

My PVP booked my last one. Then I called to upgrade and got the lecture. Still waiting to upgrade. Maybe I will one day. You can’t use FCC unless the balance is equal to or less than the upgrade, so I have to do some ‘math’.
freecruiser2 Posted August 11, 2020 #10 Share Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) I called yesterday on this too. The person said they sometimes don't get the information from the marketing dept until after we get the emails. I thought the email wasn't done well anyway. It was cut and pasted from the previous offer. In fact, the offer code is the same for both offers, but the offer is different. They said it was just the cruises that weren't filled up from the last offer, and I said, no I see a few that weren't there the last time, like a France and Spain sampler. They said call back in a few days when they get their information straight. I can wait... Edited August 11, 2020 by freecruiser2
CRUISEWITHH Posted August 12, 2020 #11 Share Posted August 12, 2020 My experience with Casino Offers is that they need to be paid "in full" at time of booking. Maybe Princess is trying to raise money this way. Hope this doesn't mean that they are getting desperate for funds.

susancruzs Posted August 13, 2020 #13 Share Posted August 13, 2020 I added an Island Princess cruise before my 22 day Crown Grand Adventure yesterday and surprised I would get casino cash. I get emails about casino deals, checked Europe listings and this cruise wasn't included. Crown 8 day cruise was listed but not the Grand Adventure and I'm not booking separate sailings as a single for casino cash.
