Weird Cruise Planner behavior on Beverage Package

Just booked next August/September replacement cruises for cancelled Harmony cruises this year.  By the way, we were able to use four FCC (two cruises) to apply to a three cruise B2B2B next year without adding an additional deposit.

Went in and added MyTime dining reservations and suddenly a big red banner shows up on the Deluxe Beverage Package saying we bought this.  Wasn't there before booking the MyTime reservations and we definitely didn't buy it.  Wish it were true - the new bookings are replacements for the Beveragegate $15/day cruises that went away in April.

Many have seen this. Mine showed this on 2 of my 7 scheduled cruises. Now the bev pkgs are showing not available so I’m assuming they shut it down to fix it.
On edit, it’s back up still showing that I purchased two that I did not.

Oh darn!  I was hoping that it was a surprise from my casino host. I did have to forego 2 $18 glitch beverage packages.

Don't feel bad, we have lost 5 of the 8 we bought on the $18 glitch.  Got to use the 2 for Feb and March, and still have one for Oasis in December if we get to go, but as excited as we were about the glitch, we all pretty much lost out on it because of all the cancellations.

OK, this is frustrating in two ways- I was told by my TA that there is no way we can re-use the $18 drink package from our cancelled April 2020 cruise- that I understand.

But I have been charged $500 deposits for replacement cruises twice. Is this what everyone else has been doing with their booking through TA's?

The $18 drink packages went away for us in April and we got the cost back as Cruise Planner Credits and applied them to the August cruises.  Still have to move those credits to next year.  But no, you can't get a new $18 package.  Cruise Planner weird behavior shows we have drink packages  on all three 2021 cruises but Order History doesn't.  If we wanted to buy them now for next year it isn't possible since the website thinks we already have them.  Probably could if we called, but not worth it to us at around $55+grat per person.

We had received the FCC before booking both the September replacement for April and the next August replacement for this September.  In both cases the FCC was used for the deposit.  And for next year we went from a B2B to a B2B2B without paying any new deposits.  The 2021 cruises have 2 FCC on the first cruise and one each on the other two.  This was done a few days ago.  Because of price the single FCCs didn't quite get completely used but we did NOT have to pay a deposit for the other person in the cabin.
