The Kernavė Archaeological site... north-west of Vilnius.....

We have a winner🏆 . The mounds are man made hill forts. There is actually a number of them all over Lithuania but at Kernave is the largest complex. It used to be the capital of the Lithuania Duchy till the Teutonic Knights completely destroyed the town in the 1300s. It is a little bit sad the site as it is obvious the locals in the town thought UNESCO Heritage listing was going to to bring them lots of tourists as there are cafes, souvenir shops, information centre, even a ticket stand for something but everything is closed and abandoned. We tried to go to the museum but that too was closed. However we did see what looked like a school excursion visiting so at least the kids are learning their country's history🤗 though they seemed more interested in racing each other running up and down the stairs😜

We seem to have stalled again, perhaps because there is some confusion over who gave the correct answer. So I'll kick it off again.

Not sure why Qbay didn't post, they said the answer.

Correct, The glass floor is quite good fun, and on the other wing there are mirrors on the ceiling , so can get some fun photos.

Also correct

Your post was confirmed as correct first.

Mic, please don't take this the wrong way but if you're going to give hints to someone else's post but don't want to "win" the guess then you need to make your hints more obscure than some of the ones you have posted lately. Some of your hints are very clever and I enjoy seeing them but others are just a bit too blatant.
