AIDA restart delayed until November

One of the first of the Carnival Corp brands meant to get back to service appears to have pushed their restart from September until November....interesting itineraries, all requiring medium to long haul flights.  If P&O were to try a 'fly cruise' season this might be the model to follow provided there's no mandatory quarantine on the return home.

Was reported to the City this morning, can not quite understand why the share price increased today?

I think the increase was due to a US news report that an near instant, cheap CV19 test was  close to roll out, which could be used by cruise lines on embarkation.

The market may also have been happy that a further delay was implemented.
