hillbilly cruiser Posted October 28, 2020 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2020 Way are there roll calls from 2019 and before? It takes forever to find if you have one.

It takes forever to find if you have one. @hillbilly cruiser Often members like to "go back in time" and reread their previous Roll Calls. After a period of time old Roll Calls as well as old threads are archived. The last time was due to the October 2018 conversion from vBulletin to Invision software. As for finding your Roll Call thread, use the handy dandy Roll Call finder at the top of most Roll Call forums. Here is a sample: Make sure you are on the Roll Call forum for your line & ship, then select the month you will be sailing. The feature will list the existing Roll Call threads for that month that have not been archived. Click on the one for your sail date & you will then be on the Roll Call thread for your cruise. That is, IF one has been started. If not one already started, then please start it yourself using the Start New Topic button on the Roll Call forum for you ship. For more information, please read What is a Roll Call? Everything you Need to Know and How To: Create A New Roll Call. For more information about our famous Roll Calls, please read the Roll Calls and Our Policy Regarding Facebook and Roll Calls sections in the Guidelines. I sincerely hope this information will be helpful and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! Happy sails, Host Kat Edited October 28, 2020 by Host Kat Typo due to fat fingers & skinny laptop keys! Rare Essiesmom Posted October 28, 2020 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2020 Your question is unclear. Are you asking why there are old roll calls? Because some members like to keep in touch. Are you asking where they are...they fall back further and further as people no longer post to them. And they are no longer searchable in the roll call tool after they have sailed. Yes, that was true about the old Roll Call finder tool. However, the new one shows all listed threads for the searched month. That is, only IF the Roll Call thread was titled correcty with the sail date NOT in numeric format. Note the suggested format and reason shown in the sample above.
