Ship movements thread

As I’m in bed I thought I’d check CruiseMapper, and Lo and behold! Spirit just made the move!

 

She is now enroute to Noumea, eta April 21/22. Checked the google maps … it’s about 3/5 the way to Papeete.

Just got word from a crew member on The Spirit-- they crossed over The Equator last night.

The Norwegian Sun has departed Panama City anchorage for Los Angeles. First sailing is May 5th from Seattle.

With 2 NCL ships remaining there are a couple of titbits:

 

Spirit is now docked in Noumea, New Caledonia - arrived this morning. Not sure how long she will be docked for. She has to be in Papeete by May 7th to restart her post-covid pandemic cruising.

 

Sun is enroute to Seattle (ETA May 1st) and is currently stopping in Los Angeles anchorage. Her first cruise PCP is May 5th out of Seattle.

Spirit has left Noumea and is enroute to Papeete Tahiti, with May 2nd as the ETA.

 

Sun is still in LA anchorage.

The remaining two NCL ships are now at their journey's end!

 

Spirit arrived in Papeete Tahiti yesterday (5/1) morning 10:00 (local time) and docked. Her first cruise is on May 7th, 5 days away .... she'll be busy being refuelled, provisioned, refreshed up to welcome first passengers since March 2020 - over 2 years ago.

 

Sun arrived in Seattle WA USA yesterday (5/1) evening (19:00 local time) after having stopped in Victoria BC Canada at 08:00 to 11:00 local time - presumedly to go thru Canadian Immigration and/or for new crew (??? maybe the Sun received crew in Panama City). Now she has 3 days to prepare to welcome first cruisers on May 5th.

 

Sadly (or should I say happily) this thread is coming to a close ... a shout out to @FreestyleNovice for starting this thread that spanned to 26 pages and attracted almost 54K views!
