Booked in 7059 fingers crossed it is a good selection.

It is essentially across the hall from the Neptune Lounge. That is the area that I've been reserving the past few cruises. Very convenient to the Lounge and it's snacks/canapes and an outstanding coffee machine. The concierges in the Lounge are exceptionally helpful with ship information and for resolving any problems that might come up.

Is it noisy being across from the Neptune lounge?

Maybe a door slam or two...but generally not a problem, as the Neptune Lounge closes no later than 8pm each day, and opens at 7am. As the Neptune Suite has the bathroom on the hallway side of the cabin, you don't hear much from the hallway.

Just like it can be quiet (or not) in any given place on a ship, sometimes it's relatively quiet across from or nearby the NL and sometimes there are loud talkers and door slammers. 😏  We've experienced both. Luck of the draw.

My favorite place to be, in a suite across from the lounge! I have never been disturbed by the other  lounge guests. The doors don't slam, and are usually left open for most of the operating hours. It's known to be a quiet place to relax. You'll find yourself utilizing the lounge more frequently too, because you don't have to hike to get to it. I usually take my selections back to my suite to enjoy them, so being  that close is really convenient. You're in for a real treat!

Mediocre at best coffee from the Lido vs free espresso-based coffees or higher end teas from the Neptune Lounge ...  no comparison, I'd make the walk.  😉

That is why my next cruise I put us across from the lounge.

We hardly used the Lounge because we were aft and I think two decks down so it wasn't convenient.  It was easier running up to the Lido Cafe for coffee in the morning than to go to the Lounge.

We just use the in suite coffee machine when in aft Neptunes.

We've never stayed in an aft suite but we use them when the Neptune Lounge is closed.  We always ask our stateroom attendants to leave us extra pods and sugar, then bring a carton of milk down from the Lido to keep in the fridge.
