Unlimited Dining Plan Questions

Hello, it’s been a while since we’ve been on Royal Caribbean cruise, so the Unlimited Dining Plan is a new concept for us. We prefer the specialty restaurants, so there is no doubt it would be a good deal for us. I do have a couple of questions:

1. Can I use the plan at Cafe Latte-tudes for coffee, etc?

2. At Chops, some items have an additional surcharge, such as the seafood tower ($39), would I still need to pay the surcharge for that?

You cannot use package for upcharges or special coffees unless you have beverage package.  The unlimited package pays for lunches, if offered in a specialty restaurants, and dinners.  You can also use for malts and icecream desserts in johnny rockets.  We really like the package.

 

we typically  sail in suites but prefer specialty dining package

1. No to the coffee

2. yes to having to pay the upcharge.

We will have the refresh package and UDP, dh is a vanilla shake junkie, is that covered along with malts???

Not sure if the malts are covered with the refresh package at Johnny rockies- the shakes are included with the UDP.  Since you have both- you are covered. 

 

I have put on the Covid 15, so when things get back to "normal" I will skip the shakes and ice cream sundae!
