DS_Dean Posted December 26, 2020 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2020 (edited) Saw some new pictures of Queen of the Oceans on Facebook group "P&O Oceana The Good Times This Is The Life" One picture as below looks like there is some fire damage to the aft. Does anyone know what this area is? It doesnt seem like the ship is being looked after very well! Edited December 26, 2020 by DS_Dean
showingdiva Posted December 27, 2020 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2020 I think that's E deck, below the Promenade / Starlights, at the back of the Adriatric Restaurant.
molecrochip Posted December 27, 2020 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2020 It’s in the mooring station. It looks like smoke damage more than fire do potentially a stuck mooring winch.

Rare Presto2 Posted December 28, 2020 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2020 Has the company who have purchased her advertised any cruises on her yet? Seems like she's disappeared and they aren't yet doing much with her to advertise her future.
molecrochip Posted December 29, 2020 #6 Share Posted December 29, 2020 Those companies who had existing cruising businesses haven't advertised new cruises yet. Its therefore not surprising a new entrant to the market hasn't either.

Perhaps they are not doing the American (sell, sell, sell) but the P&O 'let them find out what she looks like for themselves' tactic with their new ship 😉
jeanlyon Posted December 29, 2020 #8 Share Posted December 29, 2020 I've looked at that picture and I am blessed if I can see what smoke damage you are referring to?

jeanlyon Posted December 29, 2020 #11 Share Posted December 29, 2020 OK well doesn't look like fire damage to me, in fact it could almost be anything. Oh well!
