Have not sailed with the Captain, but am well aware of his reputation.  Congratulations to him.  And, maybe some sympathy as well?  Being the take-out Master cannot be an easy job.

 

I wonder who the take-out Hotel Director and Chief Engineer will be?

Very happy for Captain Timmers.  We had the pleasure sailing with him on the Eurodam in February 2016.  On that trip we were invited to have dinner with him and his lovely wife.  What a treat.

We are booked on 3/6/22 Rotterdam.  We are hoping Captain Timmers will be Master.  We renewed our vows with him on Eurodam, would like to do same on Rotterdam.  We are attempting to find out if he is Master for that sailing.  How would I find that out?  Having a little knowledge about cruise contracts, we're hoping he won't be on vacation for this sailing.
