 Corunna was one of the ports I was particularly looking forward to. A new port for us and looked easy to explore on a DIY basis 

It's one of those ports that are good for just wandering. Hope that's not a thing of the past.

crossing Bay of Biscay, very choppy,(really enjoyed people watching wandering about ship wearing lifejackets) must be newbies🤪. QE2 joined us in La Cor( we were told she was on way back to Southampton to start world cruise. last of land we saw prior to T.A. happy days.

Warnemunde is another ‘get off and walk round’ German port that we are fond of.

Yesterday I couldnt remember being here  until DW reminded me about the

very long walk to the lighthouse and your pictures.  It was on a cruise from

Malaga to Newcastle  2017  so now I have found my pics.  -See if you can spot the one of stonehenge???

I apologise in advance if I am posting too many In fact I will split them up

a bit  through the day.  The walk seemed longer as the lighthouse kept

coming into view and then vanishing making me wonder if we were ever

going to get there let alone get back!!!  (8.30 start)

Yes it’s a long walk to the lighthouse. We did a little tour from a local company at the docks.

Here are some things other than buildings we saw - this is why

we really do not like ships trips.   The ceramic?enamel?pictures on

the lamp-posts   were great I wanted to stop and photograph each one!!

Fantastic photos Aulanis. We are fortunate to have a wood and farmland to look out to at the back of our house and we see cows, sheep, deer and the occasional fox.  After nearly a year of looking out to this though, it has lost it’s magic. We yearn for the sights that have been shown on here.

A lovely day in A Coruña for us. The science museum, a nice stroll through the shopping alleys then a cracking lunch at Pulpeira Maria Pita before an easy walk back to the ship for sailaway drinks on the balcony.

Local tours are a fair bit cheaper. Just watch out when you do a off road tour.

Thank you. I thought of Vigo but there’s more going on in Lisbon. But you never know, there’s a long way to go yet.

Porto is very nice on the way to Lisbon from La Coruna

Again, so many nice ports, just had to make a choice. Wish I could visit all at present rather than being home.

Today we have sailed up the River Tagus to Lisbon  Tomorrow we arrive at Cadiz (for Seville).

We arrived in Lisbon in thick fog and left in beautiful sunshine. The little Parakeet couldn't fly out of the slipstream so travelled onto Porto with us, the crew said this happens frequently.

Lovely photos. Haven't been to Portugal, but Vigo is a port on our November cruise, unless we change it!
