I’m diamond plus.

It was said that the diamond lounge is closed because of social distancing.

I suppose you wouldn’t find

Ovation when in Asia did not have a Diamond lounge it was the high rollers den  . When it came to Australia it became Diamond lounge, still had all the camera's everywhere and the cash cage 😇

There isn't a Diamond Lounge on Quantum so that isn't the reason its closed. It just doesn't exist.

They may reconfigure and bring it back when the ship goes for drydock in Apr to prepare her for Aust/Alaska.

Currently Diamond+ members get 5 drinks loaded on to their seapass card which can be used any time of the day for any drinks up to a cap of 12 USD.

That's pretty interesting, don't know why they choose to get rid of it in Singapore. There's still a lot of international cruises that frequent RCL's ships here. I'll double check when I'm onboard.

It was reconfigured and used as a high roller casino. Somehow they didn't decide to reconfigure it back to a diamond lounge for SG sailings or offer a replacement option like Music Hall Deck 4 like what Ovation used to do when she sailed from SG.

Well now it seems even more unlikely cause her time in Singapore is almost up. Probably when she starts her official Alaska and Australia seasons she'll get i back.

She is expected to be going for a 2 week drydock so that may be changed then. If anyone is going in May/June can verify and check on any changes done.

Generally in Asia there isn’t a lot of higher C&A members.

So what is the situation with C&A drinks?

I emailed C&A society but they said they will make a announcement on it .

U get drinks loaded on your seapass card to be used for any drinks any time onboard. However there is no coffee machine or specialty coffee etc so that will require you to use 1 of your free drinks.

Diamonds get 4 drinks, diamond+ 5 drinks and Pinnacle gets 6 (unverified) drinks per day.

Is that the usual situation ?

RCL blog stated that it is unclear how many Pinnacle members get. Is this your first hand experience or through someone you know?

This was changed post covid. Pre-covid when i sailed on Quantum in Feb last year, we could get free specialty coffee from the La Patisserie and can use the 3 diamond drinks during happy hr at any bar for the diamond menu drinks.

In that sense, for people who like specialty coffee etc would prefer the old format while people who likes alcohol will like the current format.

A guess since its 4 and 5 for the other 2 ranks. There isn't any Pinnacle in Singapore i believe to really verify this.

Possibly it could be unlimited, given how much one could actually drink per day and 5 already being quite a lot. And yet I thought there would be a Pinnacle member in Singapore. Maybe they're not on CC. Haha.

Its unlikely since the current drink vouchers loaded on the cards can be shared as they don't seem to bother even if you order 2 drinks at 1 go. The limit could be higher than 6 but likely they will still put some cap.

There was a report that diamond gets 4 drinks,D+5 and pins get 6 drinks anytime, anywhere and they weren’t the C&A menu.

Any drink under ?$ 14

They should still be there. Where did they disappear from?

They don't show as listed restaurants on the official website anymore. Maybe they got rid of it in drydock? Even The Grande and Chic are gone as well...

Its all lump together as Main Dining Room. The menus are the same anyway and no longer having a different menu at each restaurant like how it was when Quantum debuted.

Ahh okay. I was on the inaugural season in Singapore, so everything is a lot different now.

Yeah, i did like the option to choose the restaurant based on the food. I sailed the inaugural cruise form SG to Shanghai so i got to experience it as well.
