I just like the convenience of not have to sign a chit every time I want a drink or needing to wait til Happy Hour just to get a discount. Plus you get a discount on wine bottles. Same here. When you consider we enjoy the top shelf spirits, Oceania’s does a ‘small pour’, so one needs to order a double and no 18% gratuity, in doing the math we usually break even or we come out ahead with regard to the cost.

Thanks If they had not received the personal reusable bottles then that is probably why the disposable bottles were still available at the exit

They were setting up in anticipation of the Vero system being implemented. The running/walking track were a cooler always sat by the forward exit door, had workers plumbing in a water connection and installing the Vero water dispenser unit. In this COVID era it will be interesting to see how peoples personal Vero bottles are handled after being ashore. From a sanitary standpoint, will these be collected to be properly sanitized before being brought on to the ship?

Thanks. It looks like it would be close to even so we would go with the convenience of the Premium Package. Does the basic drink package ($30 I understand) also include all the bar drinks/wines from above just at lunch & dinner?

The House select (39.95) pp is wine by the glass /beer at lunch & dinner only If you scroll down the page to Beverage Packages it gives a description of each https://www.oceaniacruises.com/value
bbqoug Posted April 2, 2021 #31 Share Posted April 2, 2021 We plan on upgrading from the House Select to Premium beverage package once onboard. Is this normally done at guest relations so a new card can be printed? Or, do you just upgrade at one of the bars?

basor Posted April 2, 2021 #34 Share Posted April 2, 2021 Also, both people in the stateroom do not need to upgrade. You can upgrade at any time during the cruise...,..we are on a 22 day cruise that the first 10 days are port intensive and the last 12 days are more leisurely and a Trans Atlantic so we will wait to upgrade until the port intensive days are over... once you upgrade it is for the rest of the cruise (can not pick days and switch back and forth)

Historically the answer Pinot gave is correct, and of course you can always upgrade there. BUT, on our last couple of cruises in Fall of 19 they had tables set up on the first and second days(maybe more) with paperwork to upgrade there, ALA mass markets tactics. More than a few things from NCL style methods are creeping into Oceania.

We will most likely head to guest services soon after boarding to upgrade.
