The cruise line operator said its plan, called the SailSAFE Health and Safety Program, was developed with healthcare experts. Norwegian said its plan also calls for mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for guests and crew and universal testing. Norwegian is requesting that it be allowed to resume service from US ports on July 4. mrstanley Posted April 16, 2021 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2021 If the cruise lines pull out of using US ports they will create new itineraries using ports like Cozumel and some Caribbean ports to sail from. We would be ok with flying to Atlanta and then taking a flight to a Caribbean port in order to do a Caribbean cruise or flying into a Mexican port to take a cruise.
