Has anyone sailed in either of these cabins on the Silhouette? Do they have a bigger balcony and is there any obstruction in front of them?

Both balconies are large, with 1552 being the larger of the two.  The obstruction is the window washing contraption hanging out there.  You can see from both balconies.  Some folks have issues with it, whereas others don't.

Celebrity discloses the obstruction on the deckplan:  "Staterooms 1547, 1549, 1552, and 1554 have partially obstructed views."

If I recall correctly, Celebrity for years denied there were obstructed view cabins on the Millennium class ships that had window washing contraptions parked outside the cabins.

Have stayed in #1552 and would choose this cabin again.

Had no issues with the view and is great for the forward stairs or

elevators. The cabin is also near the secret staircase to the spa

I think 1552 has the bed by the balcony.  1554 has it by the bath if it makes any difference to you.  Some prefer the bed in one of the locations over the other.

We booked both in 2019 to the Baltics.

yes you have the window washing equipment, but it doesn’t really obstruct anything, given the huge balcony you have.

Here are some snaps, including the balcony opened between both.

I like having that window washing  ladder in front of the balcony.   I hook a hammock to it from the balcony and enjoy laying in it overlooking the sea below. 😱🤷‍♂️🤗
