Today the Company announced its redeployment plans for the following ships:

• Norwegian Joy will cruise from Miami beginning Oct. 19, 2021 with five to 11-day Caribbean voyages.
• Norwegian Breakaway will cruise seven-day itineraries to Bermuda from New York beginning Oct. 24, 2021.
• Pride of America will offer seven-day Hawaii interisland voyages from Honolulu beginning Nov. 6, 2021.
• Norwegian Bliss will cruise from Los Angeles for seven-day Mexican Riviera voyages beginning Nov. 7, 2021.
• Norwegian Encore will offer seven-night itineraries from Miami to the Caribbean beginning Nov. 14, 2021.
• Beginning Nov. 20, 2021, Norwegian Escape will cruise for the first time from Orlando (Port Canaveral), Fla., offering seven-day itineraries to the Caribbean.
• Norwegian Pearl will sail from Miami offering Panama Canal, Bahamas and Caribbean cruises beginning Dec. 23, 2021.
• Beginning Jan. 20, 2022, Norwegian Jewel will be the first ship in the fleet to offer roundtrip Panama Canal cruises from Panama City (Colón and Fuerte Amador).
• Norwegian Sun will sail for the first time in Asia beginning Jan. 28, 2022, offering a five-day Japan itinerary from Hong Kong, before sailing a variety of 11-day cruises from Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok.
• Norwegian Spirit will cruise 12-day Australia and New Zealand voyages from Sydney, and Auckland, New Zealand beginning Feb. 9, 2022.

Yea, it's devastating for those with cruises booked on some of the ships.  Even the TA on the Escape in Nov. has been cancelled; wonder what they'll do about getting the escape back the US.

I am on the Epic for the tranatlantic in Nov, 2021.  It has not been cancelled but I am fearing that the TA will be cancelled and the Epic will remain in Europe.

Are these final approvals or a wish list?? They can say whatever they want: do they have any intention of following through??

 

I would like to see the official approvals from the Governments involved for these Sailing, especially Australia, Asia - Hong Kong and Japan, New York Harbor because it is very convenient for Mr Del Rio to leave in the clause about more changes coming and possibility of future changes after he has more of peoples money!!

 

I no longer trust NCL, and that has nothing to do with COVID it is the way they are now handling/treating  their cruises and customers.

IMO Not very ambitious plan through the end of October for 100% vaccinated crew and passengers.

Yep.  My Mediterranean B2B on the Spirit in October/November was cancelled today.  I can't say I'm surprised.  But it still hurts.  Sigh.

Bermudas season ends the same week they are redeploying there...odd.

I feel so sorry for the additional cancellations.  We have all been through that and know how tough it is to cancel/change air and hotel reservations.   

 

It's kind of reassuring to me to see how they are trying to get the entire fleet back.  The logistics with crew, ports and provisioning is mind-boggling to me.    And, I would have never guessed first cruises from US ports would be from Seattle first.  (So good that the temporary law was passed to allow it!)
