HELP! NCL to Celebrity....

As to the Retreat (the suite class area), all I can say is this. Before 2001, we used to cruise lines like NCL, RCCL, and such. Then we took a cruise on Radisson (now Regent). Thereafter for the next 15 years we cruised only that line and Silversea — as we had become very tired of mass market nickel and dimming and general lack of service. Then we went on some music cruises, and one was on X. We were in a Celebrity Suite, and frankly, we liked it better than cruising on those lux lines. The suite was larger and better than ones we felt like paying for on lux lines. Food and service was as good or better. The suite area and facilities were even less crowded than on a lux line. As a result, we booked another cruise in a Royal Suite on X, and liked that cruise very much also.

When cruise problems related to the pandemic level out a bit more, we will start looking for a cruise. Depending on the comparative costs, we will probably book a Suit in the Retreat on X.
