PRPLE Posted June 9, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2021 As I research my ports I focus on things special I might want to buy to bring home… from art work to food items… for me knowing and researching ahead of times provides a glimpse into the location and provides clues to the history and cultures . Plus it also helps me to budget… so I started my research and already learned about pineapple products and vanilla on Moorea… where will I be? Bora Bora Raiatea Papeete Moorea Maroe Bay, Huahine Avatoru,Rangiroa Fakarava, Tuamotu Taiohae, Nuku Hiva So if you have been to any of these locations and brought home something special (or wish you did) please comment… thanks for helping me to learn about the places I’ll be going to

Petoonya Posted June 21, 2021 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2021 A little offbeat. I'm a swimmer and snorkeler and always wear a pareo with my swimsuit. Years back the pareos you bought in FP were from fabric made and sewn in FP. Like most things, no more. I sew and buy locally made fabrics at a fabric store in Arue, 10 min from Papeete, Tahiti Art Maohi. Can get your "Ia orana" shirts there too.
