Question, they used to have a drink called the "Baton Rouge" which was made with rum and cognac, I did not see it on your posted menu. Happen to know if they still serve it? It's a great cocktail. Do you a Red Stick recipe? Sounds great.
mo&fran Posted June 15, 2021 #628 Share Posted June 15, 2021 @BirdTravels, enjoying your review. In preparation for my cruise next week, I wonder if you could ask a bartender if they have caffeine free diet Coke. Otherwise, I may have to bring my own. Rare BirdTravels Posted June 15, 2021 Author #629 Share Posted June 15, 2021 (edited) Awhile back there was a question about the jogging track. And a question about “socially distant” chair hogs. No problems getting a lounger on a sea day. (Yeah,,,, there are a few people on the ship with the Bird) Edited June 15, 2021 by BirdTravels

Who else cried when they saw this picture? So happy for all who are sailing!! Just a few weeks and I'll be leaving on my 118th cruise! Been too long... Thanks, Bird, for making me cry!! So happy (and jealous) for you!

I'm kind of particular about my tea, and have been disappointed in the past with what they've offered. Do they still have coffee and tea available during the day, outside of meal times? Surely having another venue open for dinner would only help to space people out and improve social distancing ? Since the WJ food is served by waitstaff, we are assuming they need the wait staff in the MDR and other speciality dining options during the dinner hour. Plus with only a 1000 passengers onboard they probably don't want to cook all the food for the WJ buffet and have a lot go to waste. At formal dinner last night, the table next to us and another in our section were T-shirt and shorts tables. There was zero formal attire in the entire restaurant that we could see (and we were looking because of this question). No one is going to judge you. You paid as much for your stateroom as they did. You are on Vacation. Enjoy. On FB post, I saw the Pope decked out in MDR. Looked like his formal outfit🤣🤣 1
