2Shoes2Go Posted July 5, 2021 #201 Share Posted July 5, 2021 The check in process, in Galveston, on Saturday, included them checking our CDC cards against our passports and asking the health questions, already submitted, again. No temperatures taken.

Can't believe what everyone else read on the internet!

Could the difference in reported information be because they are sailing from different ports? Isn't it only Florida that the cruise lines can NOT require proof of vaccination, due to state laws? They're asking for proof when you check-in online and cards at the port in both states.

I'm not sure about Texas, but I thought at least in Florida they are allowed to ask you to show proof, but can not REQUIRE it. Some of the cruise lines had said earlier that they would comply, but anyone not wishing to show proof of vaccination would be required to have a rapid Covid test at their own expense before being allowed to board. That said, it seems like policies are changing daily, also practices and policies are not always the same thing. The first was was just about vaccine the second also included the standard covid questions. There's supposed to be on more online assessment that needs to be completed Wednesday with is 72 hours before the cruise. Thanks for that reply.
