Carnival Horizon August 29, 2021 - Complete Itinerary Change

All three ports were changed.  Original itinerary was Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios.  The new itinerary is Bimini, Half Moon Cay, and Amber Cove.  I'm excited about Bimini, as that will be a new port for me.  Anyone have any info about Bimini?

  I hope ours has the same changes.  Sounds far more interesting since we have not visited any of these ports.

I went to bimini many years ago on a much smaller ship. Wasnt much there except endless beaches. We had conch fritters that were so so at a restaurant and went over to a bar for a wet tee shirt contest. They sure dont have those now. I'd always heard too small of a port to get big modern ships docked. So I'm surprised and interested.

Mine still lists Ocho Rios, GC and Coz for 9/12 under Planner.  Tried mock bookings and all August Horizon 6 day cruises are changed but the September 6 day cruises are as originally scheduled.

Cayman Islands and Jamaica are closed to cruise ships for now.  Since you don't have alternate destinations in the direction that'd get you over to Cozumel, you are stuck with Eastern Caribbean destinations.
