Are Pools Open At Embarkation?

It’s been so long I can’t remember. We’ll be sailing on the Horizon in two weeks and the kiddos want to start swimming once we board.

I remember them being open. Swimming is always the first thing my DW wants to do.

Historically, they have been, but who knows now... Hopefully, these initial sailings go well, and we're all able to cruise again soon...

They always have been, We pack swimsuits, Sunblock and 1 pool towel from home in our carry on. Sometimes you can get towels sometimes you can't.  Swimming while everyone is eating and exploring is the best. I figure I have all week to explore no need to do it first.

I saw a picture before the ship left port and people were jammed into hot tubs. Pool beyond was busy. Looked open for business. Very packed.

There was already a picture posted showing guests in the hot tubs and pool.

Swimming laps is always the first thing DW does on a ship. I go look for food.🤣
