ChicagoCubsFan Posted July 6, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Planning on getting the unlimited dining package on our October 4th Freedom of the Seas. With it, can we just go to Playmakers or Johnny Rockets and eat whenever we want?

excitedtocruise Posted July 6, 2021 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2021 So Playmakers you get a $35.00 food credit, right? Is this per day or per visit into Playmakers?

Good to know, I never would have thought about it since our local JR doesn’t serve breakfast. Edited July 7, 2021 by vjmatty

vjmatty Posted July 8, 2021 #15 Share Posted July 8, 2021 So I’ve been looking at this package and wondering, is it truly unlimited in that there is no limit on how many meals and restaurants during the whole cruise? Or is it like a virtual punchcard for 3 meals a day times the number of days in your sailing?

We've gone to two spots in one night before (not complete meals, of course, because--geez). However, do note that certain restaurants aren't open for lunch on port days, and Johnny Rockets might be the only open for breakfast (and I only learned about that recently).

Good to know…. we’re sailing on Oasis and they seem to have a lot of restaurants which makes it sound like a good value, especially with only 3 port days. MikeBayAreaCa Posted July 9, 2021 #20 Share Posted July 9, 2021 The only limitations are the hours they are open and the limit on certain places like Izumi. Playmakers or Johnny Rockets. If you want to eat multiple meals or parts of meals and there is a table you could, but that doesn’t sound too relaxing to me.

Sea day lunches are something of a hidden value in the UDP.
