7-8-21 Thursday Weigh-In--How Did You Do This July 4th Weekend Eating Wise?

Hi All

 

Been going aright, but have been tempted a lot... and quickly got on and off the scales.. looked like between 1 & 2 lbs on the plus side..... which isn't to bad....  so back to the straight and narrow...

 

and note to self... stand lightly on the scales in a week or so....lol

Belle— when started  dieting never dreamed I'd see 150 again.  I’m holding steady at 139.  I’m delighted,  if this is as low as I go.  Fantasizing about reaching 126.  My body doesn’t require  many calories.   I plan is to stick to my current diet and activity schedule.   I’m hoping I can maintain this wt and any more loss I will consider an extravagant gift. 
 

second day I’ve walked with back brace and no burning pain.  Hurts when I get in recliner but not when I sit up straight — obviously it is postural.  Will still get it checked out.

 

seems as if I’ve started a new tradition of thinking I have a terminal disease every July.   (It’s the nurse in my brain).

Don--Your doing the right thing seeing your up a little and

getting back on track.  I know why are there temptations all

around us. Not Fair!😄

 

Izena--Glad you had no burning pain when you walked today.

You've so well in your weight loss. I bet you can maintain, you

do so well in eating and walking everyday.

 

Alright where is everyone else this week? Not much talking. Everyone

doing great?  I'm having a hard time this week eating wise. Things on

my mind that are bothering me and that's when I want to eat something.

Trying to make it something healthy most times. Other times not!

Couple of days before scale time. See what happens.

Belle  counting calories helped me figure out what snacks I could go to when “brain overworking or not working”  apples and strawberries work. I have a small bowl that holds abt 4oz I use for pretzels or crunchy snacks. 
 

also like ginger snaps - as soon as I get home from store fill single serve bags with 100 cal  serving.   Makes me more conscious of how much I.m eating.  All this works for me
