Many thanks - I just wasn't taking the reservation all the way - when I saw payment I stopped.  

It automatically took the OBC off the excursion.

Is it possible that 'Excursion Balance' would be money owed for another excursion ? It makes sense if you owe money then a refund would be applied against it. Just don't see how you would have an unpaid amount. Another thought is that since they take OBC first, then a second excursion paid for by CC would receive the refunded OBC - but that would result in a CC refund which is not mentioned.

Exactly!! And I just checked this. I booked an excursion, used OBC to cover it, used 89.95 OBC, canceled excursion, have the same 1150 OBC.
