My Cruise has just been revised!

We are doing a resort day at RIU Palace.  Had previously planned to go to Blue Lagoon but after reading posts, seeing pictures, I want more waves.  We have been to Cabbage Beach and loved it but we know our knees will not take the hill up and down.  Carnival doesn't have any excursions other than those listed so we went to day pass resorts and bought two day passes to RUI...easy cab ride there and back.  What I really liked is that we pay a deposit now ($29) and the balance when we get to the resort.  That way, if the weather is bad or whatever we aren't out a lot of money.

Alright A question for you who have their cruise changed. What is the policy for changes, are you allowed to cancel for full refund if ports of call are changed?

No.  It's in the terms and conditions that Carnival has the right to change ports.

Sorry did I miss where I asked you for sympathy?  As my DH would say, "IF you were someone whose opinion I valued I might be offened" good news is I'm not.  I simply stated my opinion about my experience.  Last I heard I am still in America.  To each his own.

Still not providing the ports you're now going to, so enjoy Nassau, Freeport and Bimini, since you did say that none of them were in the Caribbean.  Or just enjoy the ship.  It's a shame that you can't enjoy the fact that cruising is back after a 18 month shutdown.  Cancel and go to an all inclusive.

All inclusive is exactly what I ve been dreaming all these time. I was even longing to go to Turkey as they openned but now they got forest fires and people are leaving the place. Bahams sounds very well as well but I would rather go visit Cnacun, Mexico

I would love to stay on the ship.  However, we have several new cruisers on this trip and want them to get a taste of the islands.

Well just enjoy it thru their eyes, hope they get hooked on it and will want to continue to cruise.

have fun

Anyone on the Mardi Gras with info on what port changes were for the itenary that was supposed to go to Cozumel, Costa Maya and mahagony bay? Going in November and just curious what the changes could be to at that time.

We're sailing on Mardi Gras in September. I just checked and the itinerary is still the same--Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay. Our itinerary for our August Magic sailing changed, though. Amber Cove is the same, but and Bimini is replacing whatever port it was. We'd already visited the changed port, so my heart isn't broken over it. I've never seen Bimini, so it might be a fun beach day.

Same with us!  We are going to roll with the change.  Any suggestions for Nassau?

Nassau we usually walk down to the straw market and if we feel like it take a boat over to Atlantis for a few hours in the casino or the public beach.
