I put in the requests on Monday, got the Amenity confirmations for both today - about 48hrs turnaround. Hmm, I submitted over the weekend, and I'm still waiting to hear back. Should I e-mail them again, or is half a week not an excessive amount of time? No rush on my part, first cruise isn't until January.

You can also check your vacation summary on myNCL - it will show as onboard spending. Although I got a message for each cruise, there have been times in the past when I didn't get any notification. They added then on today. 😃 My 'brokerage statement' was just a screenshot with everything MS Painted out except for my name, the date, and my 101 NCLH shares - was good enough for them. Curiously though, rather than give me the US$100 credit, they split it up into two US$50 credits, one for me and one for my partner. I was not expecting that. No, you just have to own them the day you request the benefit. Just send the form and a screen capture of your holding, I do it the moment I book even if it's 2 years out (my Epic transatlantic for Dec 2022 was booked 2 years out). In theory I think you're supposed to own day you travel. I've had ncl credited and Oceania asked me to wait until closer to sailing

jtdlmc Posted August 8, 2021 #38 Share Posted August 8, 2021 For those debating the charge/credit - I just called NCL and there is now a fee of $25 US per person for air deviation, not a credit.

I think you may have posted this to the wrong discussion. Airfare deviation isn't a shareholder benefit. If you are referring to the airfare deviation, here are the current terms, at least for the current promo: Deviation Requests: Deviation requests up to 2 days pre/post cruise will be credited $25 USD per person per deviation for guests 1 and 3-8 on the reservation. No other deviation requests will be permitted. Date deviations can be added up to 75 days prior to embarkation; once flight is ticketed, date deviations can no longer be requested. The following ships/sailings have 60 days prior: Epic 9/5/21-11/11/21; Getaway 9/13/21-11/24/21 and Jade 7/20/21-11/7/21. As has been stated numerous times on this forum, the NCL reps are often uninformed on recent changes to policy, etc.

I think I had two browsers open and clicked on the wrong one! But in response to your info - my travel agent spoke to a supervisor last week and was told there was a fee, I saw conflicting (as you posted) info and called myself and also told the same thing. mma__leanne Posted August 20, 2021 #42 Share Posted August 20, 2021 I don’t have anything productive, but just want to say thanks to this community! I didn’t know this benefit existed and I just happened to buy 100 shares at the beginning of the pandemic when NCLH tanked. I saw this the other day and I now have an additional $100 OBC for my cruise next month. Thanks y’all! 😊

I have Carnival stock also, because I cruise with Princess the most. Carnival also has Holland America, Carnival, Princess, Costa and a few more.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on how to get proof to NCL for my situation? TUVM in advance! Maybe print screen shot of your portfolio showing you have 100 shares of NCLH, and send it to NCL.

OBC cannot be used to pay gratuities and cannot be used in the casino. You can use it for excursions, shops, specialty dinners, cruise next deposits, shows, race track, laser tag. Our Carnival shareholders' OBC we use on HAL to cover most of our daily service fee.

trex-de Posted August 22, 2021 #49 Share Posted August 22, 2021 Sailing next month. Own 100 shares. Have submitted these requests several times with no issues. On Aug 10, submitted the email with an attachment of the application form and share statement from my brokerage. A few days later, it was rejected for not including the statement. I replied but no response. It looks like they did not see two pages in my attachment??? I am trying again today. All statements updated with today’s date. I explicitly noted both documents were included in the one attachment. Just documenting to help others. I will keep you posted.
