Announced this evening that the court has sided with NCLH, allowing it to require vax proof for passengers sailing from Florida.  Unknown if the state will appeal.

Just read through the entire lengthy opinion – very well reasoned IMHO – and glad to see that at the beginning it spells out the Plaintiffs as including NCL, Regent and Oceania.

Very good news for those of us who want to stay safe and keep politics out of our lives when our health is all that matters.  Good job FDR.

This opinion spells doom for Florida’s position. They will no doubt appeal but it’s a loser as a legal matter. A private cruise line has a legal right to require to require that its passengers be vaccinated under these circumstances.
