seapass card

Recommended Posts

So if everything is stored in our phone how will we be charged if we want to make an on ship purchase. I always used my seapass card when I wanted to pay for a drink or make a purchase on the ship. So will there be a barcode in our phone app that will be scanned?

Yes, but that is only meant to be used, if needed, at the start of the cruise before you go to your cabin and get your Seapass card.

So the seapass will be the old fashioned way.

Depends on what you're used to - have you sailed in the "We're leaving the Seapass card outside your door" era? Or contactless card? And no, generally you shouldn't put a hole in it for lanyard use.

Depends which cruiseline I was on.  Sometimes it was handed to me at check in. Sometimes it was left outside my door.
