AKStafford Posted August 11, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2021 Do you have a link of what you are looking at? Have you looked at booking directly with the tour operator?
penlanspice Posted August 11, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted August 11, 2021 https://alaskashoretours.com/ They only require a 5 percent deposit and can cancel 14 days before, which is essential with everything that's going on.

DogLover Posted August 12, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2021 I have personally done helicopter tours with Coastal Helicopters in Juneau. https://www.coastalhelicopters.com/ They were excellent to work with and will pick up at the pier, even for indepedent tours. I would reach out to them and ask about their current policies.
kochleffel Posted August 13, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 13, 2021 I have booked twice through Alaska Shore Tours. Last year my cruise was canceled. This year the operator of the tour had to cancel because of weather. I can tell you that they are fine about rebooking if it will work or a refund if it won’t. dgoz Posted August 30, 2021 #7 Share Posted August 30, 2021 I just booked with them because they were doing a deal that you got $100 off if you booked 3 or more tours.
donaldsc Posted August 30, 2021 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2021 I have not actually done any tours w them. However, sounds like they are a tour consolidator and not an actual tour company. If you book w them, the company that is doing the tour has to spilt your money w the consolidator. I always try to book with the actual tour company. That way if you have any questions or issues, you are talking w the actual tour operator and not someone who is sitting at a desk and who probably has never done any of the tours that they ar selling..
