Should be interesting to see if your sea legs are there waiting for you. Probably so, just like riding a bike. Looks like there will be no challenges from Grace.

 

We have sailed Eclipse, Reflection and Silhouette each on more than one occasion and enjoyed them all immensely. First time for us on Equinox comes in January 2022. If there is any reason to expect something different from this Solstice class ship, that would interesting to know. Perhaps this thread will indicate such.

Lunch in the Oceanview Café. First time in I-don’t-know-how-many-cruises we had our pick of tables. 
 

 

Green beans and potatoes were excellent. The pre-baked pasta stuff, not so much. I didn’t see a make your own pasta station. 

Mark had roast beef from the carving station. He said that was great.

Boy am I glad I got the drink package. I buy a bottle of Decoy at home for $14, and the ship wants $14 a glass. I never sail without the drink package. See you all on the 5th of Sept.

Not booked on the Equinox until February 23…but have a couple of Edge sailings  in between..sailed on the Edge on the 7/17 cruise and had a wonderful time..

And I am typically a vodka / red wine drinker 😁
We have 6 weeks before we board the Summit and looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving on Silhouette !

I have most everything unpacked. I don’t feel like I can relax until the stuff is put away. Storage is adequate. I’m one of those people who probably packs too much, but I like choices. And my own shampoo.

Many of the drinks can be made to fit the classic package. You can tell the bartender and they will let you know if they can substitute a different liquor to make it fit the classic limit. Also, keep in mind that you don’t have to order from the menu. We got a piña colada and a frozen mojito. You can get both of those on classic.
