"ID NOW" Covid Test

Has anyone successfully used this test at embarkation?

I did the free PCR/NAAT test at CVS The results came back in less than 24 hours 3PM- 9AM the next day. CVS uses Minute Clinic.

ID NOW is a NAAT test, accepted for both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.

NAAT include (acceptable for vaccinated and unvaccinated guests):

  • PCR – Polymerase chain reaction
  • RT-PCR – reverse transcription real time PCR
  • Quantitative PCR (qPCR)
  • Reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) test
  • Transcription-mediated amplification (TMA) test
  • Molecular test or molecular diagnostic test
  • Isothermal amplification
  • Droplet Digital PCR or digital droplet PCR (ddPCR)
  • Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)

did your results list it as a NAAT test , Carnival reps seem to not know what Rapid Diagnostic Test is . so hoping the results say more than the wording Rapid Diagnostic Test

If you go to this link there’s a place to click that says ‘more information about tests’ that says that it’s naat
