Is there any way to tell if a cruise is an ultra or premier cruise (i'm not ultra or premier).  the last two cruises i've been on have been ultra and it seems those cruises bring bigger wagers to the tables.  would just like to know before i book :)

looking at oct 31 magic cruise

thanks

I think if you signed into your Carnival account, and check promotions that you may be eligible for, you could find out that way.

Happy cruising!

i'm not eligible.... so they don't show you if it is an ultra/premier cruise

Idk good question. I know vista sept 25 is one so I'm glad I didnt book that date.

Magic does shorter cruises so I'd be surprised if they do major tournaments on short cruises, but idk.

Perhaps if you ask on the roll call thread for that sailing (or read the past posts) someone may have mentioned if they booked an ultra fare.

I did and didn’t see anything but it’s actually a very small roll call and very inactive

I was on the August 3 sailing of the Miracle to Alaska.  I had booked through the casino (Players Club), but the booking wasn't for a Premier.  Was a little surprised when we boarded to see that it was a Premier cruise, though clearly we weren't on that list... Casino as as busy as any I've ever seen (and I have been on a number of other Premier cruises...).  I talked to a supervisor and they essentially said that their understanding was that EVERY cruise for the foreseeable future would be booked as a Premier since they're looking to get as many passengers as possible - at least on the Miracle, and no doubt on other ships as well.   If you're cruising in the next few months, I'd probably assume that the sailing has a Premier crowd (or Ultra or Elite...) as part of the cruise.

The website is for the Carnival casino.

This lists the Premier cruises:

I can't find a similar section for Ultra cruises but that site above has a drop down for Getaway and Premier Se cruises.

I don't think they are all listed though. My husband has the option to book our 8 day May 7 2022 Carnival Dream cruise as "Premier" but it cost's a whole lot more than the Jackpot deal we booked it at. It is not listed on the cclpromos website as a Premier cruise. He can book Dream May 1 or 7th

as Premier or Vista May 7th or 14th as Premier. All at a much higher cost than many other offers.

That site can't be accurate.  It shows Premier sailings from earlier this year before cruises even restarted from the US.  My October 11 Magic Premier cruise isn't on there.  At best, it may may show future Premier cruises that are currently available to book.

My 6-day Magic cruise on October 11 is a Premier cruise.  There are Premier "Getwaway" cruises on sailings as short as 3-5 nights.
