Hi Jackie, sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I totally understand why Celebrity cancelled the embarkation day lunch, given the staggered embarkation times (in the UK and in the US). My only point was -- what's the point of having that lunch on any other day? It was a very limited menu, and its sole purpose was to give CC pax a quiet place to sit and have lunch until cabins were ready. (Hence the emoji I used. 🤣)
leela8 Posted September 4, 2021 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2021 Like everyone keeps saying, that concierge class is useless, you really don't get to many benefits from it.

I don’t find it useless if it gets me a cabin location that I prefer. But in terms of perks, I agree there are very few.

goofysmom99 Posted September 4, 2021 #13 Share Posted September 4, 2021 We boarded Equinox Aug 27th and Concierge "Welcome Aboard Luncheon" was Aug 30th, 2nd sea day.
Mark_T Posted September 4, 2021 #14 Share Posted September 4, 2021 I suspect it just depends on the boarding arrangements for each port... It isn't a practical proposition to do this on the UK sailings right now with the way the boarding times have been set, but perhaps in Seattle it is possible to get the Concierge passengers boarded before lunch time...
