Passport has middle name, but Boarding Pass Does Not??

Should I be concerned, or will I be ok?  Just did online check in for our Mardi Gras 9/25 Cruise and noticed it when doc's printed out.

Should be fine. I don’t think my boarding pass ever had my middle name

My Passport Card has my full name. My boarding pass had only my first & last name. I boarded with no issues what so ever. So, you're ok.

Same as Bases5, 15 out of 15 cruises I've been on had my first and last names only on the boarding pass, same as my daughter.

Yes you'll be OK My boarding passes have never reflected my whole name any time Ive cruised..  Just first and last. Carnival had let me on the ship every time., including last month.

I think it has to do with people with nicknames (Katherine versus Kate, William versus Bill)

 

 Your legal name is what needs to be on your passport/driver's licence/etc and your boarding document.

They actually electronically pull up your passport at the pier which will show them your picture.. You will be fine..

Same here.  Passport has middle name... my Carnival documents never do.

Whenever our middle names weren't in the system they added them during at pier check in. I agree with everyone that this is nothing to worry about. (And when we first flew internationally the same thing happened with our airline tickets, they didn't have our middle name on them. They were in the system though and it wasn't an issue.)

Just to add to this, my husband is a Jr. and that seldom appears on any cruise related documentation, but is obviously on his passport and we have never had an issue.
