Price drops after final payment?

There have been so many changes this last year that I can’t keep up.  I know that part of Royal’s Cruise With Confidence includes price drops up until 48 hours before sailing, but I can’t recall Carnival’s policy.  There is a price drop of $80 on an October cruise booked under a casino rate.  Any chance of a refund or OBC?  We have a large, oddly shaped, corner 4J that we don’t want to give up, so upgrading wouldn’t be an option for us.

We've had several price drops on our upcoming cruises lately - all after final payment.  Had one yesterday. Just fill out the CCL price protection form and submit.  I usually get a response w/in an hour or so.  Any price difference has been applied to the reservation as OBC.

Can never tell what Carnival is doing these days. Last week called Carnival to check on a price drop for our upcoming cruises. They are both paid in full. The rep asked if I wanted a refund, was surprised by it.  Due to a misunderstanding one was refunded and the other went to OBC.

So if i have a certain amount of OBC for a december cruise and find a lower price for same category, do i get the difference added as more OBC? Don't want to lose the OBC I already have since it was the $$ from carnival cancelling a cruise early this year.

Hopefully you booked using a TA. They can get that info for you. Usually a cabin upgrade or OBC. No refund.

I emailed my PVP.  He has submitted a request for the price drop, but expects it to be denied because it was not booked as early saver.  He suggested the cabin upgrade, but we are very happy where we are.  There was also a $120 price drop on the Mardi Gras that we booked last week, and that one has been adjusted.
