Neighborhood Suggestions between FLL and PBI

Hello all.  We will be sailing on the Celebrity Edge in the coming weeks.  We will be spending 2 nights before the cruise in Fort Lauderdale and need suggestions for an area to stay in for the night after the cruise.  We've conquered Miami on previous trips so looking for somewhere north of FLL.  I'm not familiar with Delray Beach, WPB, etc.  

 

We are mid-30s married couple; looking for an area with nice restaurants for (preferably outdoors) dinner.  No need for beach proximity.  We are flying out of West Palm Beach airport on Sunday afternoon.

Boca Raton is nice and snooty...LOL

+1 on Boca. Good restaurants, brewpubs

 

Delray Beach is also very nice. Good, New food hall. Arts scene. Many restaurants.

I'd look for a hotel next to CityPlace in Palm Beach.  It's right next to the airport as well.  Check out ER Bradley's for an outdoor dinner, it's kind of "the" spot 🙂

 

There is a Marriott Residence Inn right between CityPlace and Bradley's.  Pretty much puts you right in the middle of the things to do and see.  Clematis Street nearby is also a bit of a hot spot.
