When are shore excursions posted?

I am sailing on Nov 14 on Davinia and 46 days out there are no excursions posted.   Anyone who sailed on MSC recently when did you have access to their excursions.   Thanks

We leave Miami on 10/30/21 and no excursions are listed....bumping this to the top of the thread list

Leave Barcelona mid-November for repositioning cruise....no excursions listed, rather the following limp message:

 

We are working to enrich our shore excursions program, they will be bookable soon.

I know many things MSC IT can be wonky but we had things listed for this week and last way ahead of schedule.

A month or so ago I called to ask some questions when they changed the vaccination requirements for kids under 11 again. The lady told me excursions would be available 14 days prior to our sail date. Not much time to plan.

Even then you may have things change.  Our Mera trip itinerary changed after we got on last week.  Not sure why.  Even many of the staff did not know that it changed.

Most rcruisleines, including MSC are holding back releasing excursions until closer to trip so, if there is a need to cancel, it is one less thing to deal with, also because countries are changing their visitor rules weekly it seems, again this makes it easier on the cruise lines

But not even to offer Ocean Cay “excursions”?  Me thinks the MSC land based outfit is absurd!  I can’t reserve an umbrella or raft?  The ship is only going to Ocean Cay and Nassau.  Not rocket science.

Can prebooked excursions be cancelled after you are on board?  In case something COVID happens or it is supposed to rain buckets all day on your "beach excursion?"

Yes, provided you give 48 hours notice of cancellation.
