odie1024 Posted November 12, 2021 #654 Share Posted November 12, 2021 Thank you for a great review. I have had never had a desire to cruise Carnival but between your review, Sid's and St. Greg I definitely want to try one of their new ships. Have a great last day. 4
Hogladyrider Posted November 12, 2021 #655 Share Posted November 12, 2021 @MeganGC1983...this has been a GREAT live review. So sad to see it come to a close which I'm sure you are as well. Now I have to find others doing live reviews before I go into withdrawal! 1

CoasterGuy Posted November 12, 2021 #657 Share Posted November 12, 2021 At fortune teller, the golden galaxy tasted like a spiked Frappuccino. Crystal ball was like a margarita on steroids.

Brisket left something to be desired. @MeganGC1983 if Andy (the comedy host) is doing a farewell comedy show tonight make sure you don't miss it. It was excellent. 1
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted November 12, 2021 Author #659 Share Posted November 12, 2021 Just got in from a full day in Nassau. I’ll catch you up shortly but first a Guy’s burger and a date with Bolt. Lido is full and we may have pier runners.

Rare MeganGC1983 Posted November 12, 2021 Author #667 Share Posted November 12, 2021 Bolt was a blast. I’ll post photos later. Then we ran to bar Della Rosa for Bellini. They are setting up for Vegas Nights at Center Stage. And Stewart left us the last towel of the cruise.
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted November 12, 2021 Author #668 Share Posted November 12, 2021 Now, let’s go back to this morning… there was a lot of construction at the port. We walked past the MSC Mervilia and around to the street. Took a long trek down Woodes Rodgers Walk to Marlborough and over to Bay St to Junkanoo Beach.

Rare MeganGC1983 Posted November 12, 2021 Author #670 Share Posted November 12, 2021 We got there about 8:15 and it was still pretty dead. There’s almost like 3 sections of beach separated by piers. The first one had like 8 people, but no one had gone on down, so we did and had a whole area to ourselves. We got to chairs for $20. He said we got a table and an umbrella too but never saw the table and didn’t want the umbrella because it was pretty overcast and early. The Disney Fantasy came in and we watched it turn around and back in.
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted November 12, 2021 Author #671 Share Posted November 12, 2021 More people slowly started to trickle in including several groups of early 20 somethings there to have insta-photo shoots. Small rant: don’t come to the beach, National park, any sort of art or monument and expect everyone to stay out of your “claimed” area while you take pictures for 1-2 hours. It’s not happening. These kids were posing, angling, propping the phones up on coral, crawling out of the water in slo-mo, it was just a lot and when others were going, you know, to swim (gasp) or walk on the beach (gasp) it was a whole thing. there were neon, fringe, mesh pants with a thong out there. The whole totally hot mess. At this point, we got our chair guy, Peter to get us some beers. 😆 Oh and I chased a crab.
mrak Posted November 12, 2021 #672 Share Posted November 12, 2021 Sorry if it's been asked, but any idea how many passengers onboard this week? thanks!
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted November 12, 2021 Author #673 Share Posted November 12, 2021 A beer turned into 3 and at noon, we left Insta-heaven and headed up the road to John Watling’s Distillery. One of the beach places was cooking their jerk chicken… we just didn’t have time though. Smelt amazing. The walk was uphill, but we saw some nice things on the way… a cemetery, paintings, etc.

He saw us on the way to dinner and asked where we had been. Brass Magnolia was very busy because the New Radicals were playing. I got a Praline truffle. It’s really good. wasn't there a late 90s band called the new radicals? I vaguely remember them from TRL maybe?
