After dipping my toe in the LIVE pond with a land vaca to Cancun earlier this year, I’ve decided to jump in, cannon ball style with this Mardi Gras review. So sit back, subscribe, ask questions, get comfy, and get your beverages ready for ANOTHER Mardi Gras LIVE. We leave 2 weeks from today! Let’s go cruising! Clap clap clap clap clap

Our itinerary has changed from when we originally booked. What was 2 sea days, followed by San Juan, Amber Cove and Grand Turk followed by one last sea day has changed to 2 sea days, San Juan, Amber Cove, sea day, and NASSAU. 😬 It is what it is and we are cruising soooo we roll with it. There will be snorkeling, shopping, a pina colada battle of EPIC proportions and tons of other tasty beverages especially since we booked WITH the cheers! Package included.
There will also be some gym time because the weekend after we return, I’ll run my 10th half marathon.

!! Sailing on Mardi Gras tomorrow. Just got a call to upgrade from our cove balcony to a Suite for only $128 total. Nothing cool like this has ever happened to us! We are platinum.

Carnival specialist also said we she is pretty sure they go back to normal boarding tomorrow with the VIP lines. I haven’t read this whole thread, so maybe this is old news? Our old boarding pass said 10:30-11:00 arrival time with boarding zone A04. Now it says our boarding zone is PRIORITY. So we will see.

Also—Heard from a couple of sources that Shaq and John Heald may be on the ship tomorrow …

Cheers everyone!

Someone on Elation said they had Diamond/Plat/Suite boarding first again with the Diamond/Plat section separate from the rest.

Today, I went ahead and made afternoon appointments for PCR tests at CVS for Thursday 11/4. These are the “back up plan”. This CVS is 20 minutes away.
The “priority” is rapid tests at Walgreen’s 30 minutes away. (We live in the country) The appointments for Walgreens aren’t available until Halloween, so I’ll have to stay on that.
Check in time tonight!

@MeganGC1983.......you go girl...I'm signed and and ready for the party.

Are your driving or flying to Port Canaveral?  Safe travels

We are flying. Last week, we drove to Pensacola with the kids and that was enough driving for me. Oklahoma to Florida once in a year is enough.

Last night, I went to a birthday party and had 4 too many margaritas, so my plan to check in for the cruise last night didn’t happen. Sooo, I checked in this morning when my alarm went off for my long run. Noon seems legit! I entered the passport info and all that jazz. Now we wait on the health assessments and pack!
