BTW you do not need the fish.  Just look at the cabin numbers.  If they are decreasing you are moving to the front of the ship, if they are increasing you are moving towards the back.

I was told there would be no math on this cruise...

Fresh off the Breakaway...

When we started cruising (about 20 years ago), one of my favorite things on the (Norwegian) ships was the carpet with the fishes!!  The little fishes were always swimming toward the front of the ship, so you always knew which direction you were walking.  I saw no fish on Breakaway....and a few times, they would have come in handy....

NCL....PLEASE...bring back the fishes....I think it would be great if NCL would have fishes here and there on the ship, not necessarily in the carpet, but on walls, near elevators etc....it's so easy to get turned around on these big ships.... 🙂

I was on the Breakaway December of 2019 and it had fishes.

That's interesting because we sailed on her in 2018 and 2019 and didn't find any.

Yes, we were on the Epic right before the Covid (Corona Virus) shut down in early 2020 and there were no fish in the carpet on deck 12 of the Epic.

On a cruise on the Spirit a couple of years ago, in addition to fishes on the hallway carpet I noticed for the first time some very discreet fishes on top of the "restaurant status screens", the ones that tells you if there are tables available or not. I am pretty certain this can not be the only ship that has fishes on their screen, allthough I had never noticed them before (allthough also not been looking for them there anyway). As you can see of my photos below (unfortunately in bad quality, but better than no photos), there were a few fishes swimming forward and then one swimming the other way.... 🙂🙃

Actually Carnivals whale tails drew their inspiration from an old NCL ship.  Google the SS Norway (formerly SS France).

I was on her when she was the SS France and then 9 cruises on as the S S Norway.

I think I saved a piece of carpet with fish. Just loved that ship.

We need to send a note to the person in charge!!

Dear NCL, we want fishes!!  Not just in the stateroom hallways, but randomly around the ship!!  Make it fun, make then hidden, make them part of the decor!! We need them in the common areas, outside the restaurants, bars, casino, etc.  They would be most helpful and fun! 🙂

Sincerely, Fans of the Rebellious Fish!!

As one who identifies with the red fish, we should start a Red  Fish  society. Or Rebellious Fish Society. 😁

One of the renovation work during Covid was new carpets. There are fishes now

New carpet on the stairs in middle of ship where casino meets ice bar

We need fishes in the common areas!!  Not just in the cabin hallways.  Last week on BA, many times when leaving Shenanigan's (O'Shehans), the casino and other venues....we had to try to figure out which way to go.....fishes would have been helpful.

I am just quoting my self as my previous post is referring to fishes that are actually in many of the common areas.... 😉

Ok… I’m issuing a challenge to all NCL passengers to hunt, photo and report any and all fishy sightings onboard (outside of stateroom hallways)…. Maybe NCL has already been doing this and we just didn’t notice?? Is that possible??

No fishes in the Haven.....or any of the public areas we went....

I think NCL should have 'random fishes' like on the walls, near the elevators, fishes on the ceiling!!, etc...it could be their 'thing'...and also be very helpful 😉

the glass doors in the public areas to go outside have fish also there is no color so you have to really look. I'm not sure if it is on all the ships or just jewel class but they are there.
