We love Luminae too but don't expect the same level on Harmony when we board this weekend. But just having a smaller venue available rather than the MDR is what we want.  I've seen the list of menus for CK and it is similar to what Luminae serves, a few menus are identical, so not sure why it wouldn't be as good, unless the chefs just don't cook as well on Royal.   We like leisurely dinners and can't wait to try CK for the first time.

I know you were talking about the food in CK but for the lounge, can someone tell me who can go in the lounge on Harmony (we have a late Nov sailing out of Port C).

I think it is only suites and not Pinnacle but wanted to know.

If anyone has gone to the "Jazz on 4" Pinnacle destination they talk about, what is it like? Seemed in the basement when I was on Oasis and Allure ages ago! Thanks abunch.

Suite guests have access to the Suite lounge.  Pinnacles  do not have access unless, of course, they are booked in a suite.

The Pinnacle event venue for Oasis class  is held in Jazz  on 4.  It is on deck 4, next to the Diamond Lounge across from the comedy club, near the main  theater and down the hall from the casino.  Never thought of that location as "the basement".    In the past, Jazz on 4 was often used as overflow for D lounge happy hour.  Jazz on 4 is a lovely  venue.

Enjoy

Thank you. Years ago the DL in Allure and oasis was up high with a window overlooking the boardwalk. In one the chefs table was up some stairs to a 2 nd floor. I forgot they moved it to 4. Thx.we wanted to experience the lounge next to coastal kitchen but looks like it’s another takeaway that won’t return.

DL on Allure  is still the nice lounge overlooking the  boardwalk.   Pinnacle venue is on 4 but of course Pinnacle's have access to the  D lounge as well.

Can pinnacle members have breakfast and lunch in CK or has that been moved to jazz on 4 ir simply eliminated in the big perk take back ? ( trying to evaluate cancel or put up with it ) thx

Jazz on 4 is just a dedicated space for the  evening  event only.   There is no Pinnacle lounge per se. Nothing  in any of the pinnacle dedicated spaces during non happy hour ,  so no coffee there, no food etc.

You may be able to have breakfast in  CK if there is space.  Pinnacle guests have a specialty restaurant (Chops/Giovanni's etc.) dedicated for breakfast service.   Lunch in CK, again if space is available.   You may also have continental breakfast in the Diamond Lounge, which is rarely crowded in morning hours.

And of course other ship venues such as MDR or Windjammer.

If you only sail ships with  CK, it may be somewhat of a change.   Look at these and other changes to make the best assessment regarding cancellation

Allure didn't get amped due to Royal Caribbean cutting costs during COVID -- all they did during the spring, 2021 dry dock was to work on the propulsion and other technical items.  Therefore, RCI kept the DL on Deck 11.  We are cruising on AL on Saturday with a stateroom on Deck 11 so it is very convenient for Breakfast and Happy Hour.  Breakfast had hot items when we cruised in August.  We will enjoy the DL with wonderful windows and a great location while we have it as RCI will probably fully AMP Allure during the next drydock unless there are other financial pressures.

Thanks - looking forward as well, this Sunday.  We were last on Allure  in early Jan 2011, when the ship was  10 weeks old  and have not been back till now.  Super excited

Does CK/suite lounge have bottled water? On Celebrity, they have those in the suite lounge. Since Royal combines the restaurant and lounge, I am wondering whether they do. Thank you in advance.

We were given bottled water on Oasis 3 weeks ago at no additional charge. Our waiter in Coastal Kitchen gave us each 2 bottles, even though we just asked for one. Service there was outstanding. The staff in both Coastal Kitchen and the Suite lounge anticipated anything we might have wanted. I can also say the same for everyone on Ovation when we cruised to Alaska in August.

Are Pinnacles allowed to use the Suite sun deck area on Allure?  Deck 17-forward.

What does this have to do with a 6 month old thread about Coastal Kitchen?   A bit confused here.

LOL!   Have never been on Allure, but pretty sure we are allowed on suites sun deck, as we used it on Harmony.  But then again...I was in a full suite AND Pinnie..so I am probably not the one to ask.  😉

Yes-per my experience in October/November.  Our sea pass cards unlocked the gates

Enjoy.
