IIRC, back in late 2019, the hours were approximately 7 AM to 9 PM. It’s probably similar now.

Gary, since you asked workout hours, tho, we have yet to board the Explorer, will share

my experience with workout hours on board numerous cruises on the Voyager and Mariner.

 

Have found you can go early, I workout daily from 5 am to 7 am in both fitness facilities on board both the Voyager and Mariner.  So, imagine if you wanted to go workout early on board the Explorer you would be able too.  Enjoy your cruise.

I thought I remembered the gym being available in the wee hours on Explorer, but thought that maybe I was confusing it with the Crystal ships. Perhaps the posted open hours are when it is staffed, but it may be otherwise available when no staff is present.

Wes—thanks for the info, I too like it go early—-4;00 ish—on Seabourn  the gym is 24 hours, 

hoping it will available on our Miami to Venice cruise in March

When I went on my last Regent cruise (Voyager 2018) I was due to test for a belt in my martial art 2 weeks after my return (questionable decision after 2 weeks of Regent food and drink, I know!) So I asked if I could work out outside of normal hours. They let me, but more graciously gave me full access to the room where they do yoga/stretching stuff when it wasn't booked for existing events. That way I had a large wide open space to practice my patterns/forms/poomsae. It was perfect and couldn't have been better. I guess what I'm saying is they seem to be super accommodating where they can.
