AustinCruise Posted November 10, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Just to confirm, has anyone had issues with getting a booster dose within 14 days of sailing? First dose was Dec 2020, second dose Jan 2021.
Rare DaKahuna Posted November 10, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2021 it certainly has been more than 14 days since you received your second shot and became, in the eyes of the CDC and RCL 'fully vaccinated" RCL has not taken a position on booster shots - YET. For our December 14th sailing here are the requirements per our set sail pass documentation: All guests 12 and older must provide documentation of their COVID-19 vaccination prior to boarding, such as a vaccination record card, with the final dose given at least 14 days before sailing (not counting your sail date). Children with one dose of a vaccine do not count as fully vaccinated for our sailing.

Rare crewsweeper Posted November 10, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2021 I think eligibility for boosters is still 6 months after Pfizer or Moderna 2nd shots and 2 months as after J&J. But final shots referred to in ECL and CDC mean the 2nd shots. 14 days prior to boarding doesn't apply for boosters.
AustinCruise Posted November 10, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Thanks @Itchy&Scratchy & others. My big worry is check in worker confusion. Sounds like many have done it with no issues.
long4acruise Posted November 10, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2021 We had our booster shots 5 days prior to our European cruise on MSC! No problems with the airline or cruiseline looking at our vaccination cards . At every checkpoint the agent realized we were fully vax'd after our Feb & Mar shots and the 3rd date was our recent booster. We also had an email from our health dept stating we were fully vax'd
hotsauce126 Posted November 10, 2021 #7 Share Posted November 10, 2021 If they see 3 shots on your card they won't get confused. You won't be the first person they've ever seen with a booster
