Celebrity Charging for Home Testing

Wow, what a difference a few hours make.

 

This morning:

Effective November 16, 2021 - Fully vaccinated guests requiring a COVID-19 test to return to their home country will be provided the option to receive testing onboard prior to disembarkation. Proof of return travel scheduled within 24 hours of disembarkation will be required. Testing will be available at the rate of $55 per person for Antigen and $95 per person for PCR.

While I'm happy that existing bookings will not be charged, I'm very disappointed that those who overnight before flying home will not be able to be tested onboard due to the 24 hour rule. They should use the same 2-day rule that they apply to pre-cruise tests.
