How to fund OBC before the cruise

Is there a simple way to fund your account online before the cruise?  Maybe I'm missing it.  I see the gift certificate thing, but it looks a little convoluted. It looks like you have to buy it, and then call to redeem it to your account 10 prior to sailing.

Call royal and you can add obc 😇

What's the point?  Paying up front, or qat the end, you're still paying the same amount.

I think when most people are talking about OBC, they are talking about credits they are not (directly) paying for.

There is lot's of points! One point is the exchange rate for OBC can be very good another one some people might like to have everything paid for in advance. 😇

Thanks. My SO is a bit anxiety ridden, and very much a planner. She likes to have everything done ahead of time, so there might be a slight off-chance that she can relax for 10 minutes on her vacation.  If it were me, I'd just let it ride.

We've used Carnival's cruise cash. It was really simple.  Just a couple of clicks.  I imagined every cruise line had something similar.

I'll let her know. If it comes down to calling and waiting, she may or may not be interested.

There is a special department to call to add OBC to your account...very easily done

I'm getting the American Express $500 cash back on $1500 spent.  It doesn't apply to onboard purchases.  You can bet your sweet Bippy I paid for gratuities, shore excursions and OBC already.  😄
