Host Hattie Posted November 17, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2021 Interesting, thanks for posting. I was hoping for a warm weather cruise for the end of March but Norway might be possible ....

Rare carlmm Posted November 18, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2021 Any idea when these cruises will go on sale? Will people, who where booked on the cancelled cruises, get any preferential treatment?

Elephant1151 Posted November 18, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2021 We booked Southampton to San Francisco at 10am this morning. Could not get the stateroom we wanted through to Vancouver but very happy with the one we chose. I asked Cunard why so little information available prior to the booking opening and was informed the marketing all had to be done in a 3 week period since the last cancellations and the information only went to some not all cruise agents. Please could anyone advise a taxi firm to collect us at Heathrow Airport to take us to Southampton as we intend to leave the car there ready for our return. Castro and Millie Posted November 19, 2021 #8 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Booked Southampton to Vancouver yesterday, 43 nights, no problems getting the room we wanted. Will also have the car being left in Southampton issue to address. This will be the longest cruise we have undertaken by quite a distance but looking forward to it nevertheless. Elephant1151 Posted November 19, 2021 #9 Share Posted November 19, 2021 We have decided to have a taxi from home to Southampton and then it meet us at Heathrow to go home. Having looked at all the alternatives - ie parking at Heathrow then either coach or taxi to Southampton and a hotel etc, then a coach home after a long flights, this was the best solution for us.
